Kathryn Hunt is the owner and principal designer behind the label. A graduate of the Fashion
Institute of Technology with a degree in Fashion Design, she has worked with clients from
Madison Avenue to the Hampton's providing style guidance. Since 2004 iKat Gear has grown from
individual style sessions to group workshops and now offers consultation services for all your
fashion needs. From planning your wedding to preparing for an important event, iKat Gear can
help you look your best.
The iKat Gear customer is a Do-It-Yourself type, looking for support to help themselves be their
personal best. After several years as a Recruiter she began to offer workshops to help others
dress for success. With the success of the workshops and a feeling that people were ready for
a change, she focused on the interest for a tangible collection and from that she has created
more than just a clothing line.
iKat Gear produces apparel, jewelry and home fashions all handmade in NY by the designer.
